1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Alfred Business Management Platform ("Alfred," "the Platform," or "the Service") provided by Skylinx Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including organization administrators, employees, and any other individuals granted access.
2. Description of Service
Alfred is a multi-tenant business management platform that provides tools for:
- Employee management, profiles, and HR administration
- Timesheet and attendance tracking, including GPS-based smart attendance via the mobile app
- Leave management and balance tracking
- Project management and billing
- Invoice generation and tracking
- Asset management and maintenance tracking
- Internal ticketing and support
- Expense reporting and approvals
- Role-based access control and permissions
The Service is available via web application and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
2.2 Location Services & Mobile Permissions
The Alfred mobile application may request access to your device's location services to enable GPS-based smart attendance (clock in/out and break tracking). Location data is collected only at the moment of an attendance action to verify your presence at designated work zones and is not tracked continuously in the background. You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit the availability of GPS-based attendance features.
The mobile application may also request permission to send push notifications for real-time updates on timesheets, leave requests, and support tickets. You can manage notification preferences through your device's operating system settings.
3. Accounts & Access
3.1 Organization Accounts
Access to Alfred is provisioned on a per-organization basis. An organization administrator is responsible for managing users, roles, and permissions within their organization.
3.2 User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Service and to update such information as necessary.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
5. Data Ownership & Privacy
5.1 Your Data
You and your organization retain ownership of all data entered into the Platform ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data. We process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
5.2 Data Isolation
Alfred uses a multi-tenant architecture with strict data isolation. Your organization's data is logically separated from all other organizations and is never accessible to other tenants.
5.3 Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data or your organization's data at any time. To request data deletion, please email:

- Acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- Process the deletion within 30 days.
- Permanently remove the specified data from our active systems.
- Confirm completion of the deletion to you via email.
Please note that certain data may be retained if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records required for regulatory compliance). In such cases, we will inform you of the specific data retained and the reason.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible).
- Emergency maintenance to address security or stability issues.
- Factors outside our reasonable control (e.g., internet outages, third-party service failures).
8. Intellectual Property
The Alfred Platform, including its design, code, features, documentation, logos, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of Skylinx Technologies. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
- In no event shall Skylinx Technologies be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skylinx Technologies, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate access to the Service:
- By You: You may stop using the Service at any time. Organization administrators may request account closure by contacting us.
- By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data. After this period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to organization administrators via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
